All members of the genus Apis are known floral pollinators. While much research has been conducted on Apis interactions with flowers regarding scent, communication with previous visitors of the flower, distances from the hive, et cetera, no one factor has been determined to be the primary attractor of Apis to any given flower. This study isolates components of flowers in an attempt to record which are most independently attractive to bees.
